Room Rentals

* Food and beverage minimums are only applied to Friday and Saturday events. (Room rentals, rental items, tax & service charges do not apply to the food and beverage minimums. Semi-private space not applicable.)

Booking an Event
Be sure to reserve your date by putting down a deposit (personal checks are accepted for deposits). All functions are reserved on a first come first serve basis. ONLY with receipt of deposit and a signed contract will your event confirmation be guaranteed. All deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to the final bill.

$1,000.00 non-refundable deposit required for parties and functions over 35 people.
$500.00 non-refundable deposit required for parties with 15-35 people.
$200.00 non-refundable deposit required for small parties under 15 people.

Final Payment
The final payment is due by 4:00 PM on the Monday a week prior to the confirmed date of the function along with the guaranteed number of guests. We accept cash, cashier’s check, and most major credit cards. Sorry, no personal checks accepted for final payments. A credit card will also be required on file for any last minute changes.

Gazebo Rental
Our historical Vargo’s Gazebo is the perfect spot for your picture perfect photos and/or wedding ceremony. The Gazebo rental fee is waived for parties renting a room in the restaurant. There is a set up and breakdown fee for any outdoor chair rentals (see below for charges). Times for decoration and photo use are allowed for, but are not considered exclusive use. Ceremony coordination is at the client’s discretion.

$500 - Gazebo rental for 1 hour ceremony and 1 hour rehearsal ($100 every hour thereafter)
$25 - Chair rental set up fee (up to 33 chairs)
$3 – For each chair rental

Photo Shoots
Vargo’s does allow professional photographers to come to the grounds for photoshoots. It is a wonderful location for Engagement Pictures, Quinceañera pictures, and Wedding Photography. There is a $108.25 (tax is included) charge for photo shoots up to two people, for one hour, and one photographer. This fee is also waived with any room rental. The beautiful Vargo’s outdoors includes the lake, gazebo, and walkways. Photo sessions will be reserved Sunday-Monday and upon availability on Saturdays. Please check with the staffs to schedule your photoshoot.

Tasting Menu
As with any restaurant, food is priority. We want to make sure the dishes you select are just the way you like. For any function with a minimum of $5000, there is a complimentary tasting of all prospective dishes (just don’t forget to tip the nice waiters). This includes two hors d’oeuvres/appetizers, two entrees, and a sample of our house wines. Premium wines and bottled wines can be tasted for an extra charge.

Linen rentals
Table cloth overlay, chair covers, and chair sashes can all be rented from our specially discounted vendors. However, you are more than welcome to bring in any extra decorations to add your personal touch.

Valet Parking
Vargo’s is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles. Valet parking may be arranged at a client’s discretion at the cost of $100.00 or $2.50/guest according to vendor pricing. If valet services are already offered, guests have the choice of choosing to valet park without charge.

Vargo’s Provisions
Vargo’s provides event set up and breakdown, standard tables, chairs, tableware and buffet implements for receptions. Vargo’s does not provide floral decorations, live entertainment or officiate services. However our knowledgeable staffs would be more than happy to recommend qualified vendors in any of these areas.

Service Charge
A 20% service charge applies to all food and beverage purchases. The service charge will provide the necessary wait staff for a function, excluding chef attendants and cashiers.

Tax
An 8.25% Sales Tax is charged for all applicable items.
